When is my rent due?
Rent is due by the first of every month. If rent is received after the 5th of the month, a $30 late fee will be assessed to the tenant's account.


Where do I pay my rent?
Rent can be paid at or mailed to Walla Walla Housing Authority's main office at 501 Cayuse St, Walla Walla WA 99362. The main office is equipped with an after-hours drop-box that payments can also be placed in.

For residents of Belmont Apartments and Marjorie Terrace, a rent payment box and envelopes are available on-site. Payments should not be placed in the rent payment box after the 5th of the month.


How do I pay my rent?
Rent is to be paid by check or money order only; NO CASH. When using the after-hours drop-box at the main office or a rent payment box, please place your payment in a sealed envelope with your name, address, and apartment number clearly printed on it.


What do I do if I have changes in my family or income?
Changes in family composition and/or income are required to be reported, in writing, within ten (10) working days. Failure to report changes may result in adverse action being taken.


What do I do if something in my home needs to be repaired?
Call Walla Walla Housing Authority's main office at 527-4542 extension 100 to request a maintenance work order. Be prepared to give your name, address, apartment, telephone number, and a complete list of items needing repair. Routine maintenance repairs can normally be completed within three (3) business days.


What do I do if I have a maintenance emergency after hours?
Call Walla Walla Housing Authority's after-hours maintenance emergency number at 527-4542 extension 115. Be patient as your call is routed through our telephone system and connects you with the on-call maintenance technician.
