When a completed application is submitted a receipt is issued, indicating the program(s) applied for and approximate wait time. The applicant's name is placed on the applicable waiting list(s) according to the date and time the application was received.
Being on a waiting list does not obligate the applicant to anything, nor does it guarantee eligibility to rent from Walla Walla Housing Authority. Being on a waiting list simply means the applicant will be contacted when their name comes up.

During the eligibility screening process, Walla Walla Housing Authority will collect information regarding household composition, income and assets. This information is verified through local agencies, employers, financial institutes, and other applicable entities.
